My mother, Kathleen, died the day before yesterday

My mother, Kathleen, died the day before yesterday.  It is something that is profound in my life.  I am just trying to get through the minutes.  I am with my precious granddaughter, Annabelle, for the weekend and this is a lovely and wonderful distraction.  She is so lovely...very sweet little girl...and BUSY!

I hope I can be of some comfort to Dad in the days and months ahead...such a loss for him.

I have no other words just now...

  1. Just try to remember the good. And as your profile states...when life is good, it is good...that doesn't mean we won't have to endure some bad. Hold on to all the good, and it will give you strength to endure the bad. Sending big hugs!

  2. Keeping you in my prayers. Loss of a parent is very traumatic. We need to remember that they are with us always, in the things they taught us, the memories that they made for us and in the eyes of our grandchildren. Hoping you can feel the hugs from there....Shari
